Clifford Alexander

Executive Producer

 

For several years, Cliff has worked in Hollywood, with some of the leading actors, stage directors, and movie production companies such as Dreamworks, and Universal Pictures. .Cliff attended Prairie View A&M University and earned his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in theatre from the University of Houston. In 1995, recruiters sought after him to major in theatre performance at major universities across the country. From 1995 to 2000 he worked with leading American theatre directors and producers. Clifford has produced, directed, and performed in over fifty theatrical productions, over a 10 year period. Also, he has a long standing working relationship with his management and supporting team.  In 1995, he was instrumental in forming a theatre production company called I’m Ready Productions, while still attending college. From 1999 to 2004, Clifford served as a head speech and theatre educator within one of the nation’s largest urban school districts, Houston and Aldine Independent School Districts. He managed productions of 15 personnel while serving as theatre director for the Houston Independent School District. As an educator and theatre director for Aldine Independent School District, be planned, budgeted, and managed the speech and debate team of twenty personnel. In 2000, he served as theatre consultant for the national stage play tour called, MEN CRY IN THE DARK by I’m Ready Productions, which headlined “star” African-American actors Allen Payne and Richard Roundtree. In 2001, he served as Assistant Director for I’m Ready Productions, in which he planned the production schedule and supervised a crew of over 25 personnel, on a national theatrical tour across the country  called, THE MAINTENANCE MAN, which included major African-American entertainment “star” actors such as Billy Dee Williams, Darius McCrary, and Arnez J. Clifford is affiliated with several organizations such as the Screen Actor’s Guild, Charles Gilpin Players, Encore Theatre, University of Houston, Prairie View A&M University, and Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.

 

 

Rebecca Alexander

Executive Producer

Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Houston with a minor in Theater. Rebecca choreographs and dances in the styles of African Modern, Jazz, and Liturgical dance, most recently at the First Church of God Center of Hope. Rebecca has ten years work experience is in the industries of higher education as Office Coordinator, Program Specialist, and Academic Advisor.  As a Program Specialist at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, she produced  custom programs for mutli-billion dollar international bank executives and managed budgets from $100,000 -$400,000 as she liaised with 15 interdepartmental USC faculty and staff, 16 volunteers, 3 corporate partners, supervised and advised up 8 persons, during preproduction of 2 custom and 3 open enrollment programs within a 7 month work span, and advised management of program effectiveness to assess revenue and provide detailed analysis of faculty course evaluations and customer service.

 

OUR BUSINESS

 

The company will offer stage play productions and media merchandising services to consumers who seek family friendly and inspirational entertainment. Theatrical productions will include content about African-American experiences, and faith-based themes. Calvary Entertainment will develop, produce, present, and tour throughout the United States, in major underserved urban markets.
