Calvary Entertainment's focus is to use revenue generated proceeds  from its mainstage productions, to develop, promote, train, and eventually employ at- risk youth and adults in the field of theatre and film production.  The companies long range goal is to develop and implement Calvary Entertainment live stage theatre, movie venues, and performance arts training instituions within underserved urban communities across America and Globally.

EDUCATING YOUTH

For the 2006-2007 season, Calvary Entertainment has been working within the California State Juvenile Justice System.  With the help of probation leaders, staff, and religious staff personnel, we have developed and implemented a theatre program for juvenile offenders.  Most of the juveniles we are helping to educate are the most alledgedly serious and alledgedly charged individuals in the state.  Nevertheless, they are youth who deserve the right to be educated in the most competent and assured way.  Most of the students are tried as adults, charged with crimes ranging from robbery to murder.  Nevertheless, they are still youth whom we believe can be rehabilitated, and not just deemed legally as "unfit" by the justice system.
